How much does a private yacht in the Seychelles cost?
A bare charter rate and a complete private yacht week are not the same product. These figures put the whole-group price first, show the per-person result and separate a useful planning reference from the named-yacht quote required before booking.

Why comparing with charter listings misleads
Charter brokers normally publish the bare charter fee. Food, fuel, port and marine park charges are collected separately as an advance and add another quarter to a third on top.
Our figure already carries all of that inside it. Someone who sees 5,600 on a listing site next to our 15,500 is not comparing two prices — they are comparing two different things. The top of the market looks different again: a premium operator’s motor yacht starts at USD 80,850 for seven nights.
What changes the yacht price
Group size affects provisioning, tourism levy, transfers and cabin use, but the yacht and crew remain the main fixed cost. That is why the per-person amount usually falls from two to six guests.
At seven guests the question changes: a legally suitable larger yacht may be simpler and cheaper, while two yachts offer privacy and two paces. We show both structures rather than hiding the choice in one price.
What the complete quote must cover
Before payment, the proposal must identify the yacht, owner or licensed operator, skipper and crew, guest and crew berths, full-board scope, fuel, park and marina charges, Tourism Environmental Sustainability Levy, transfers, drinks, connectivity, diving or water-toy scope, refundable security deposit and insurance excess.
Weather, replacement, cancellation and refund terms must also be explicit. An 'all inclusive' label without the line-by-line scope is not evidence of the complete journey price.
Private yacht, cabin cruise and bareboat are different
This guide is for a private crewed journey for one group. A shared cabin cruise may look cheaper because the yacht is shared; a bareboat starting price excludes the crew and may exclude provisioning, local fees and other mandatory elements.
Competitor comparisons are only useful when the asset size, dates, guest count, crew, food, fuel, local fees and contract basis are made comparable.
When the price becomes final
Website figures are non-binding planning guidance, not a public offer. The final total follows a named-yacht availability check, lawful commercial capacity, current licence and insurance evidence, full inclusions, mandatory fees and reconciled cancellation terms.

- What does a private Seychelles yacht week cost?
- Our working range for a crewed catamaran is EUR 14,500–16,500 per week for up to six guests, depending on the vessel and the dates. When comparing this with charter-broker listings, keep in mind that those usually publish the base charter fee: food, fuel, port and marine park fees are collected separately on top, and they add roughly a quarter to a third again. - What fees are added on top of the yacht?
- Fees are set in Seychelles rupees and depend on the points along the route. SPGA marine parks, per person per day: Sainte Anne SCR 200, Curieuse SCR 300, Baie Ternay and Port Launay SCR 200, Iles Cocos SCR 200. These are not marine parks and are charged separately: Vallée de Mai on Praslin SCR 450, the Veuve Reserve on La Digue SCR 150, L’Union Estate SCR 150. Private reserves: Cousin SCR 600 with under-12s free, Aride SCR 650 with SCR 300 for children aged 4 to 13. A mooring buoy is SCR 250 per vessel per night. The environmental levy is SCR 100 per person per night; crew and children of 12 and under are exempt.
- Can guests dive directly from the yacht?
- Diving runs from the dive centre’s own vessel under its own licence; the yacht is where guests sleep. A dive day for six costs EUR 1,060 near Mahé and EUR 1,340 in the La Digue area, where a EUR 500 surcharge applies each time the dive boat meets the yacht.
- When does the price become final?
- Once the vessel is named, its licence and insurance are checked against your dates, the cabin plan is set and the crew is confirmed. The website figure is guidance for a comparable configuration, not a public offer.
